Across River And Into The Trees

Set in Italy during WWII, American Army Col. Richard Cantwell, is a bona fide war hero who faces news of his terminal illness with stoic disregard. Determined to spend his weekend in quiet solitude, he commandeers a military driver to facilitate what is likely a final duck hunting trip and visit to his old haunts in Venice. As Cantwell's plans begin to unravel, a chance encounter with a young countess begins to kindle in him the hope of renewal. Based on the last full-length novel Hemingway published in his lifetime, ACROSS THE RIVER AND INTO THE TREES captures a fleeting moment of immortality where time stands still. The story contains the great Hemingway themes of love, war, youth and age.

XIII: The Conspiracy (2008– )

The first female US President Sally Sheridan is shot dead by a sniper during her Veterans Day speech. Her assassin narrowly escapes the scene with his life, national security hot on his heels - or so it seems. Three months later, an elderly couple discover the body of a wounded man in a tree, wearing a parachute. The young man (Dorff) cannot remember the slightest thing about his own identity. The only clue is a tattoo on his neck, "XIII". Meanwhile, in the Whitehouse, government intelligence is still conducting the search for the President's killer. With the elections just weeks away, a confirmed suspect could swing the vote for the administration. Hours after XIII's location is picked up by covert intelligence, elite special ops forces are swarming the couple's house in Cape Fear. Running on adrenaline and instinct, XIII tactically takes out the soldiers one by one. On the run, clinging to one desperate clue after another, XIII begins to piece back his life, fragments of his memory returning. Finally captured, he learns that he has been given a stolen identity and placed undercover to flush out a group of conspirators threatening to overthrow the government. Ensconced within the highest echelons of power the conspirators run their own security agency alongside the Government's. Both are out to find him. The only way for XIII to get his own life back is to play bait. A dangerous game, especially when you don't know who you really are.

A Dangerous Arrangement (2015)

In a secluded cove in Malta, a beautiful young woman tries to drown herself. Her name is Ellen, a night club employee who just days before trying to end her life was drifting through each day uneventfully, spending most of her time at work and with her hard-partying boyfriend and lovable, yet incompetent roommates. But when Ellen meets Amy and Carrie, everything changes...all of their lives spin out of control thanks to one drug-fuelled night of partying and Amateur(TM)s overdose. Unfortunately, for Ellen and her friends Amateur(TM)s father is as vengeful as he is doting and will stop at nothing to make them pay, including murder.

Sweating Bullets (1991-1993)

Nick Slaughter, an ex-RCMP and DEA agent, who had dropped out of society after being fired from his job, relocates to the Florida town of Key Mariah to start a detective service. In the process he meets Sylvie Gerard, a local travel agent. Together they form a strong partnership and quite the detective team. However, the local police squad never made it easy so they often require help from their friends: Ian, Spider (owners of the Tropical Heat Bar at different times) and Rollie (local police mortician). The Town of Key Mariah will never be the same again thanks to Nick Slaughter and company.

Killer Deal (1999)

The year is 2015. After a world-wide economic collapse in 2009, the entire middle-class is wiped out, leaving only high-class and low-class. The high-class rich reside in a place called Parkland. Parkland is surrounded by high walls so they would be separated from the low-class citizens. There are no jobs, so there is no way that low-class citizens would ever achieve a better life. The high-class citizens want what they call "eternity" life. They build TV billboards to advertise "Eternity" life, in which poor citizens donate organs which the rich citizens need to survive and live longer. In exchange, the remaining family of the donor will receive $10 million and residence in Parkland. One man, Sgt. Jimmy Quinn and his family are allowed to live in Parkland because of his achievements and is to be promoted detective at Parkland...without being a donor. When the donor for the creator of Eternity, Dr. Roland Parker, is killed, they are in a desperate search of another donor. After waking up one morning with a hangover, a donation contract, and fired from the police department, he believes these donations are not so voluntary; he sets out to find proof before his time is up.

30 Years to Life (1998)

In the near future, instead of being sent to prison criminals are aged for the number of years the system feels is adequate to the crime they committed. Vincent Dawson is a 15 year old, whose late father was a musician who didn't exactly make it and died tragically. Vinnie hopes to be a musician too but his step-father is not very supportive, and when they have a violent argument, his step-father is killed and he is the prime suspect and evidence is found against him. He is sentenced to be aged 30 years. Now, as a 15 year old trapped in a 45 year old body, he sets to prove his innocence and hopefully the procedure could be reversed.
